The JCJ Team began this project with an evaluation of four different sites. The JCJ team carefully planned Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino for incremental growth, to offer a full complement of gaming and resort amenities that would meet a broad spectrum of guest experiences including not only gaming, but also entertainment, recreation and relaxation. The fast track schedule and phased implementation allowed the Seneca Gaming Corporation to quickly generate revenue, and to continue operations without interruption during subsequent phases. The tribe looked to the JCJ team to carefully master plan this massive, complex development on a challenging, steep site adjacent to a mountain. JCJ Architecture’s long-standing relationship with the Seneca Nation stretches back to 1999 and comprises multiple, significant projects. JCJ’s design complements the picturesque, natural surroundings of the region and tells the rich cultural narrative of the Seneca Nation.
